What are superfoods?

Superfoods are both a food and a medicine. They are the most potent, super-concentrated, and nutrient-rich foods on the planet. They have the ability to increase the energy of one’s body, boost the immune system, elevate serotonin production, enhance sexuality, as well as cleanse and alkalize the body.

Starting this week, we are pleased to begin and share with you a month-long “Superfood Series“, highlighting one superfood per week – both on our blog and on the menu at the Café.

Superfood of the Week: Goji Berries

Goji berries are valued for their antioxidant properties, and are reported to help healthy liver functioning. Among other nutrients, these berries contain:
